St. Anthony’s School is looking for an outstanding KS2 or KS3 central class teacher with experience teaching Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) subjects.
This is an opportunity to join an established school team. We are looking for a person who – -Is an excellent, inspirational class teacher -Is committed to working hard and is very ambitious for themselves and the wider team -Is a well organised practitioner with high expectations of achievement for all their pupils -Demonstrates creativity, imagination and a good sense of humour -Is able to develop positive relationships with all school stakeholders -Has a good knowledge of SEN issues with a focus on SEMH and ASD- We can offer – -Small classes -A supportive team -Good professional development

St. Anthony’s is a designated KCC special school for pupils with an EHCP for SEMH and ASC in KS1 -KS4.
Though in reality, we meet a range of needs including social emotional, communication difficulties and learning needs, within a background of high levels of deprivation . To do this we place a great deal of emphasis on individual programmes within small group settings. Past Ofsted reports, parental feedback and other professionals agree that we are very successful with our pupils; our positive relationship with them reinforces this message.
