We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Temporary Teaching Assistant to join our team as soon as possible, to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil in KS1.

This is a part-time appointment (term-time only)

TA 1:1, 27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday paid on KR3 £17,769 - £18,039 (pro rata)

Previous experience as a teaching assistant would be an advantage and in particular within KS1 and with pupils with additional needs.

The successful candidate will be literate and numerate to GCSE or equivalent and have relevant experience of teaching phonic skills and reading.

Ideally, in applying for the post you will have:

• Essential previous experience of working as a teaching assistant, including working with children with additional needs.
• High standards of work-ethic, self-motivated and an ability to work with high levels of independence.
• High standards of personal presentation, punctuality, professional standards and team work.
• The ability to form positive relationships with children and adults.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

This post is linked to the pupil and will cease, if for any reason, the pupil leaves the school.
