We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, dedicated and supportive team in Key Stage Two. Candidates should ideally have experience of working in this key stage.

The successful applicant will be required to work 20 hours per week (8.30am – 12.30pm Monday to Friday) term time only 38 weeks a year. This post is at Kent Range 3 and will initially be a one year fixed term contract. 

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Have experience of working with upper Key Stage Two children including those with SEND and EAL
  • Be someone who enjoys working with children
  • Have relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ3 / Level 3 Teaching Assistant, NNEB) or relevant experience
  • Demonstrate knowledge of working within Key Stage Two
  • Be a good team player, flexible and prepared to use their initiative
  • Be committed to their own professional development
  • Be imaginative, creative, very energetic and interested in moving on children’s learning
  • Have good interpersonal skills and organisational skills
  • Have an interest in celebrating children's learning by classroom display
  • support the ethos and wider life of the school
