We are looking for a highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Year 1 teacher to join our team. The position will initially be for a fixed period of one year but may lead to a permanent contract depending on the need of the school.

You will need to be an effective classroom practitioner, energetic, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills. You will need to be IT literate and up to date with the National Curriculum. You must also be willing to contribute to the continued improvement of our wonderful school !  NQTs and experienced teachers are very welcome to apply.

Evidence of your teaching and GCSE / O Level / A Level qualifications and degree information, along with photo identification, will need to be shown at the observation stage. 

Birchington CE Primary School offers a happy and highly supportive staff team and superb professional development.
