Valley Invicta Academies Trust requires a Teaching Assistant to join our team to provide 1 to 1 support at our primary school at Holborough Lakes.  This is a fixed term contract, linked to High Needs funding, which will be reviewed by July 2021.

Salary:  25 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, starting at £9,998, pro rata to full-time equivalent of £17,943 - £18,440 per annum (VIAT 2 Grade).

TThe ideal candidate will be kind, caring and flexible, with a willingness to learn. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to form positive relationships with children, parents and staff. The role involves working with our teaching team to support the child to make academic progress and to provide additional nurturing activities to meet their needs. You will work closely with our staff team and outside agencies to help the child to meet their targets and support them to feel happy and comfortable in school.

Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes is a one-form entry school for children aged 4 to 11, with a Specialist Resource Provision which has a designation for children with ASD, in the heart of the local community.
