Advert

Ramsgate Holy Trinity is a lovely, one-form entry primary school full of enthusiastic and dedicated children, teachers and support staff. We are incredibly fortunate in where we are – only a 10 minute walk from the beach and set in exceptional grounds; outdoor learning is a key part of our curriculum. We are looking for the right person to join our EYFS Reception team, where we are dedicated to achieving the highest standards of good Early Years practice to give children the best possible start to their education.

The successful applicant will be able to show how their experience of working within an Early Years setting has given them the skills needed to facilitate play and make high quality observations which build up an accurate profile of the individual child. A real passion for children’s development at this early stage is vital.

The applicant will either already have a qualification in paediatric first aid or be willing to undertake the training. The present post holder has responsibility for leading first aid across the school –the ability to take on this role would be desirable.

This position is 33.5 hours per week. With only 34 members of staff and 210 children, we are all committed to contributing what we can to the life of the school - we would love to hear about what you think you can add, be that a special skill, interest or hobby that you would be willing to share!

This will initially be on a two year fixed term contract and for a January start, although it would be ideal if the candidate were able to start before the Christmas holidays to enable a handover with the current post holder.

Ramsgate Holy Trinity is consistently the highest performing school in Thanet, is rated as 'Outstanding' (OFSTED 2006) and is rightly proud of its wonderful children and their achievements.

Visits to the school are expected – you need to see who we are just as much as we need to see you! Please contact Mrs Couch in the school office to arrange a visit to the school.

Ramsgate Holy Trinity is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and satisfactory references.
