Are you willing to become part of our school community and work with us to create a well maintained and inviting school for our children?

We are looking for a wonderful and caring team member to help us keep our school tidy and safe.

We are looking for someone to join our team part time. The key responsibilities will be ensuring the school grounds are safe and clear, helping maintain our building and where possible fixing issues or seeking external support to do so.

We are due to move to a brand new school in 2021 and our site will increase . This means that for the right candidate their is potential for further hours in a site manager role.

We can offer a wonderful team who work with each other and support each other. Flexible working opportunities to support your work life balance. Training in school maintenance and caretaking as required.

If you would like more information please email the Headteacher at headteacher@platt.kent.sch.uk

Information about the school

We are a small, one form entry community church of England school made up of 180 kind, motivated and excited learners. Our vision is based on the parable of the mustard seed in that we aim for all children to grow, flourish and be responsible and reflective individuals. The staff at our school are valued and are expected to embrace our Christian vision and the values of Care – Learn – Forgive. Our children are confident and proud of their school and belonging to it. We believe education should not only equip children academically and emotionally but provide memories and shape our children to 'live life in all its fullness' (John 10:10).

We moved into our beautiful new school building in September 2021 and you will be part of growing our site and our learning community.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and young people and to this end all staff are subject to DBS checks.
