Following the period of school closure, we would like to appoint an Academic Learning Mentor on a short-term contract to support students to achieve their full potential.

You will provide a complementary service to existing teachers and pastoral staff in school, addressing the needs of pupils who need help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the classroom, in order to enable these pupils to achieve their full potential by being able to access the curriculum more effectively. You will enable the school to raise standards of achievement and improve the wellbeing of specific pupils across identified year groups. You would be required to support students throughout the school day and in after-school sessions.

The position will be 37 hours per week, term time only.

This position will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
