St Augustine Academy requires two Learning Support Assistant(s) with experience of working in a secondary school.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant(s).  The successful candidate(s) will be working intensively with a young person with a complex range of needs.

The aim is to support students so that they may achieve their academic potential. Emphasis is placed on the appropriate personalised strategies and interventions for each student, which will enable them to successfully manage their social and emotional development.

Applicants will need to integrate within our friendly team as well as needing excellent communication skills to develop a good relationship with students and staff.

One post is a Full- time, Term Time only, Plus INSET Days post, 37 hours per week (working 8am – 4, Monday – Thursday and 8am – 3.30pm on a Friday with half an hour lunch break). The other post is a temporary contract to cover Maternity leave for the  rest of the academic year 2020/2021.

Pay Spine: WAT Support Grade E £17,769 - £19,234 (FTE £20,751 - £22,462) - Pay increase pending.
