PEBBLES NURSERY provides a stimulating and nurturing environment for children ages 2, 3 and 4.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated Nursery Manager to enhance our dedicated team. 

Pebbles was inspected by Ofsted in February 2020 and was graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.

This position is for a total of 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year term time only, plus development days + 5 days. 

The successful candidate must have a minimum of:  Early Years / Childcare Qualification NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and Mathematics and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent and experience in Nursery Leadership and Management.

Salary is Kent Range 07 (£22,581 FTE) which equates to £19,116.44 pro rata.

Annual leave is not to be taken during the term and will therefore be paid in addition to salary.

Pebbles Nursery is situated in a modern building within White Cliffs Primary School.  It is led and run by the Principal of White Cliffs School.  The team includes a qualified teacher, SENCO and Nursery Assistants who are all supported by the schools Director of Early Years Foundation Stage.  The close relationship between Pebbles Nursery and White Cliffs Primary School enables the children to have an excellent start to their education.  Pebbles Nursery benefits from the resources and expertise provided by White Cliffs Primary School and the Dover Federation for the Arts Multi Academy Trust.
