Downsview Community Primary School is looking for a motivtated and enthusiatic After School Club Supervisor to lead our after school provision.

The post will be for 16 hours per week - Monday to Friday 2:50 pm - 6:00 pm, Kent Range 3 (£18,039 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £7,800 p/a).

The successful candidate will have to be enthusiastic and passionate about working with children and enjoy working as part of team. The ability to form positive relationships with children, parents, carers and staff is essential. Good communication skills and the ability to plan and lead exciting and engaging, child-focussed activities will also be needed. Experience of preparing simple but nutritious meals and admisitering basic first aid is also desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate. 

Downsview Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and views it with paramount importance. The school requires employees to obtain a Criminal Records Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), including checks against the barred list. Two references are also required prior to commencement of employment.

Downsview Community Primary School is an open, inclusive and welcoming school set in a semi-rural location in Swanley. We are a one form entry school with classes from Reception to Year 6. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds with lots of opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.
