CLEANER REQUIRED

We are looking to appoint a cleaner for 12.5 hours per week to join our in-house team. The successful candidate will become part of a team responsible for cleaning all internal areas of the school to ensure they are kept in a pleasant, hygienic and safe condition.


Applicants will be expected to have experience of cleaning to a high standard and be confident in the use of relevant cleaning equipment. They will also need to be able to work within set routines and to form effective working relationships with their colleagues.


The closing date for applications is 21st August 2020 with interviews expected to take place 26th August 2020.

This post is for 12.5 hours a week, 3.00 - 5.30, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Sutton-at-Hone is a Church of England Primary School and is part of the Aletheia Academy Trust. Our school vision is: We are God's family - learning together, loving together, growing together - striving to be the best we can be, for ourselves, for God and for others.

The school was built in the 1970s and is situated on the southern outskirts of Dartford. It occupies a very pleasant site near the Ancient Church in the Village just off the A225.

We are a good school and we aspire to be outstanding. We have a supportive and friendly team of school leaders, teaching staff, support staff and governors who, together, are committed to achieving this aspirational goal and to continue in our drive to raise standards. We believe in nurturing and developing our staff, supporting them to achieve their goals and career progression, through peer support, coaching and CPD.

We are a two-form entry school with 14 classrooms an ICT suite, breakfast and after school club and a swimming pool. We have a forest school and plenty of outdoor space.
