This is a varied role needing an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual.  Thinking strategically you will take the lead on matters related to finance, personnel, premises, health and safety plus administration. Please read the job description carefully.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, confidence and a willingness to work with the whole school community and become involved in all aspects of school life.

You will:-

  • have excellent financial, administration, communications and organisational skills
  • be able to report to Governors and the Senior Leadership Team
  • work closely with the Headteacher on the operational and strategic running of the school
  • be able to lead and motivate others
  • demonstrate a welcoming, positive approach with parents, staff, pupils and visitors to the school
  • provide a healthy and safe environment for the whole school community
  • have experience or be prepared to learn SIMS (School Information Management System), FMS (Financial Management System) and BPS (Schools Budget Planning Software).

 Information:

  • 30 hours a week for 40 weeks - Term time plus 2 weeks to be agreed with the Headteacher
  • Pay KR 7 FTE: £22,581

Brook Community Primary School is a small four class village school set in idyllic surroundings. Established in 1876, we have a current roll of 75, and are situated in an elevated position on the edge of the picturesque village overlooking the Wye Downs and just 4 miles from Ashford. We are very proud of our school and aim to provide a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment where each child is valued and encouraged to develop their skills and abilities to the full.
