We are looking to appoint an excellent Head of Mathematics to take up the post in January 2021.

The successful applicant will report to the Deputy Headteacher and will have overall responsibility for teaching and learning, achievement and attainment within the department. We are looking for someone who will inspire their departmental colleagues and all students who study in their curriculum area with a love for their subject, leading them to explore it and value it for their whole life.

Organisation of the delivery of the subject in the school. To contribute to the development and maintenance of whole school strategy, policies and ethos.

 

The teaching requirement consists of 23 periods of 45 minutes plus Form Tutor time.

 

 

Information about the school

Earlscliffe was founded as an independent, day and boarding, sixth form college in 2012 and has recently joined the Dukes Education group of elite educational establishments.

Earlscliffe is fully co-educational, educating boys and girls from 15-19yrs and currently all of our students, except one day boarder, are full boarding and are accommodated within our five residences.

There are currently 115 students from over 30 nationalities in the school. There are approximately 25 teaching staff (p/t and f/t) and about 60 employees in total. We also operate Easter and Summer School courses throughout the vacation periods. We offer a gold standard A-level programme in traditional subjects providing the best academic preparation for entry in to the world's most competitive universities.
