Science Technician Apprentice

37 hours per week Monday to Friday (365 days)

National Minimum Wage for an apprentice

£7,984.60 per annum

 

The Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to undertake the role of Science Technician Apprentice within the Science Department. We are looking for someone who can play an active role in contributing to the already high standards within this department.

 

The role will involve:

  • preparation of materials and equipment for lessons,
  • assisting during practical lessons,
  • stock checking,
  • general cleaning, storing and maintenance of specialist equipment.

 

The individual should have GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and maths or equivalent and have a keen interest in, and passion for science is essential.

The role will initially be fixed term for two years and if successful, you will receive a Laboratory Technician, Level 3 qualification.
