We are looking to recruit a  friendly, self motivated Teaching Assistant with Midday Superviser duties who can support the principles of a church school and promote the core values of love, respect and wisdom.

The role is mainly supporting a child on a 1:1 basis but will also involve assisting the class teacher with learning activities and ensuring health and safety and good behaviour by all pupils. The role is linked to Higher Needs Funding so will be reviewed annually.

The successful candidate will be joining our team who, collectively, are responsible for supporting learning, and helping to deliver a creative and joyful curriculum for our children. You must be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in order to support learners in a range of environments, even on cold days as we make use of our surroundings - which includes our forest school.

The role is Term Time, Monday - Friday from 8.30 - 3.15. However we will consider a job share, so please include on your application form the hours that you are available to work.

Hever is an oversubscribed Voluntary Aided church school situated in a beautiful village on the borders of Kent, Surrey and Sussex and two miles from the market town of Edenbridge. The school covers a wide catchment area of both rural and town environments.

The school has recently had two new and spacious classrooms built. There is also a large sports field, outside space,nature area, forest school, hall and library. The school is very well-supported by parents and governors and we have children who are well-motivated and keen to learn.
