FINANCE OFFICER REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Monday – Friday, 8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. (3.30 p.m. finish on Friday)

37 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 3 weeks

We are seeking to recruit to our Finance team and are looking for someone who has experience, expertise and knowledge to join our team and contribute to our vision that “every moment, every day, every individual counts”!

As a Finance Officer you will:

  • Be responsible for payroll for all staff
  • Have oversight of pensions for teachers and LGPS
  • Process orders in an efficient manner and in line with best practice
  • Take a lead in the cashless systems within school
  • Work as part of a team

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Grade 4 GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience of payroll and pensions
  • Experience of working within a finance setting
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own
