Advert

We are looking for a versatile primary teacher to join our team in September 2020. The position would suit candidates at any stage of their career.

We believe that this presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work in our two form entry school which has a proven record of supporting teachers in their career development.

Are you ready to make a positive difference to children’s learning? At River Primary School, we believe that children come first and we ensure their experiences at school help them to thrive in education. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing rich and exciting learning opportunities both in the classroom and outside, making learning irresistible.

Our children achieve academic success but we work hard to develop them as well-rounded, responsible young people who will positively contribute to society in the future. Our school values of: Community, Respect, Endeavour, Diversity and Self-Belief help us to guide and support the children as they develop the skills and resilience which will equip them to overcome challenges that they may face in life.

Are you interested in joining a forward-thinking school? As a federation, we invest in the professional development of our team and personalise what we offer according to level of experience and career aspirations. For Newly Qualified Teachers we offer a bespoke programme to support induction through our Samphire Learning Hub collaboration. We understand that support during induction will be important to the successful applicant but more so to a new teacher who may have experienced disruption to training.

We are looking for a team player who works well with others and values the home/school partnership. Most importantly you will be someone who shows a genuine interest in children and who invests in all aspects of their learning and development.

Visits to the school would usually be encouraged, however are not possible during the lockdown period. Please visit our website to gain an overview of the work of the school. Any questions relating to the role prior to application can be sent via email to: office@river.kent.sch.uk.

The school may bring the closing date forward if sufficient applications are made to this advertised post.

River Primary School is committed to safeguarding children. This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and check against the ISA barred list for children.
