Oasis Academy Isle of Sheppey seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HR Officer to join their team. This is an exciting role for someone looking to gain excellent exposure to recruitment, retention and payroll input. You will need to feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and proactivity in all areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate will be resilient, committed and caring, with excellent attention to detail and time management. You should feel confident in using Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel. 

About the role:

This is an exciting role for someone looking to gain excellent exposure to recruitment, retention and payroll input. As well as this, you will also have the opportunity to assist with:

About you:

In order to be successful in the role of HR Officer, we would expect you to have the following:

  • CIPD qualification, or working towards
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all staff and outside agencies.
  • Ability to prioritise work and deliver to deadlines.
  • Understanding the practical application of Equal Opportunities in an Academy context.
  • Basic knowledge of Employment Law.
