We are looking for a caring and dedicated teaching assistant to join our wonderful team. 

We are looking for this member of staff to support the teaching, learning and personal development of pupils in one of our Early Years classes (Reception) or Key Stage 1 classes.

You will have high expectations for all children and want to be part of a school that delivers a stimulating and creative curriculum.   In particular we are looking for someone who:

  • Has a commitment to sharing responsibility for raising standards and improving challenge within the school
  • Works effectively as part of a team, with the wider school community and independantly.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment, energy and enthusiasm
  • Flexibility in duties and approaches
  • Have high expectations and enjoy being a member of a team
  • NVQ qualification in Early Years Care and Education (or similar) is essential.
  • Possess five A* to C grade GCSE's or equivalent (including Maths and English)

The working pattern for this role is 32.5 hours per week (8.30am - 3.30pm), term time only.  The salary is within Kent Range Band 3 and will be paid pro-rata in the range £15,253 to £16,967 per annum.
