Astor College requires a Cover Teacher for September 2020.  The role would ideally suit a newly qualified teacher who has yet to find a role for September or a recent graduate who is looking for experience before entering a teaching role.

You will be covering for staff absence across all subjects, key stages and departments.  We are looking for a candidate to join our team who is driven, motivated and can work on their own initiative if faced with a cover lesson where no preparation is available to ensure the students are engaged and kept on task.  

Salary would be unqualified teacher and would be negotiated dependent on experience.

Candidates should have A Level qualifications or a degree, with English and Mathematics at a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent (upon appointment qualification certificates will need to be shown).
