Shears Green Junior School is looking to appoint an experienced sports coach (KR6) for three days a week (13 hrs) to take PE lessons and support key stage 2 pupils. (Tuesday and Wednesday). We are looking for a well organised, reliable, flexible team member who can inspire and motivate our pupils.   The role is fixed term for one year with the potential to extend further.  The role will involve working with classes, teams, supporting individuals and working with small groups of children. 

Applicants must enjoy working with children, be emotionally intelligent, caring, and flexible and have excellent positive behaviour management strategies. We can offer you a happy, friendly working environment and a supportive team. Visits to the school are welcome. 

Applicants should have completed a Level 2 Coaching Qualification and have an understanding of the National Curriculum and working with children in Key Stage 2.
