Woodlands Primary School, North Tonbridge are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. The roles entail working with individuals, small groups and the whole class in order to ensure that children have effective support to learn well and make good progress.  Experience of supporting learners with SEND is desirable.

1)  Full Time Position - Early Years

This is a permanent position, 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 15:30 with half hour lunch break and daily half hour lunch duty.

2)  Part Time Position - Key Stage 1

A one year contract, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12:30 to 15:30 which includes half hour daily lunch duty.

3)  Part Time Position - Key Stage 2

A one year contract, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 12:30 to 15:30 which includes half hour daily lunch duty.

We require a minimum Grade C in both Maths and English together with previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in the Primary sector.  The successful applicant will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Information about the school

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have approximately 600 pupils on roll, organised into three classes per year group across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
