We are offering a rare opportunity to join a brand new, purpose-built environment designed for our unique children. Successful candidates will have the prospect of joining this collaborative journey to build the school and its vision from the outset. This really is an exciting opportunity to be part of creating something special from the very beginning.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and calm person who would enjoy working in a school office environment, has a friendly disposition, enjoys working as part of a team and would be dedicated to the needs of the school and the children.

This is a key role within the school. The Office Manager will be the primary point of contact for parents and visitors, and the role will be the ‘front of house’. Flexibility is essential, together with the ability to be organised, pro-active and demonstrate fantastic time management skills.

Previous experience of working in a school environment and knowledge of SIMS systems is essential. Understanding of special school admissions and EHCP processes are desirable, however, training will be given to the right candidate.

This is a permanent position based on a six months probationary period. The hours are 37 hours per week term time only, Monday - Friday.

You will be our desirable candidate if:

  • You have great organisational and communication skills;
  • You are able to remain calm and work under pressure to competing deadlines;
  • You have strong IT skills, including MS Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems;
  • You are attentive to detail and able to work effectively in a busy environment;
  • You have experience of supervising other members of staff;
  • You have maths and English Language GCSE grades A*- C;
  • You are a positive role model to all.

In return, we can offer you:

  • A friendly and supportive team;
  • Opportunities for progression and development through training, coaching and mentoring;
  • A healthy work-life balance;
  • An inclusive environment where you feel valued;
  • A supportive leadership team.
