We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic part-time teacher to work in Year 2 for 2 days per week – Thursday and Friday, commencing on November 2nd 2020 – the start of term 2 . This will be on a one year contract initially.
We are looking for a highly motivated, effective teacher with KS1 experience, who can provide exciting and challenging work for our children. A thorough knowledge/experience in teaching Maths and English/Phonics and KS2 SATS is essential in order to maintain the high standard of teaching that exists in these subjects at the school. In return, we can offer an opportunity to work with enthusiastic children and exceptionally supportive colleagues in a popular village school. You will be supported in all aspects of your professional development and will have the opportunity to contribute to school improvement.

Stocks Green is a successful one form entry school in the village of Hildenborough. We have a friendly atmosphere and ethos of high expectation for our pupils. There are currently 217 children on roll, the majority of whom live in the village. We enjoy strong community links and are part of Tonbridge Village Collaboration - 6 similar local schools with whom we work closely on a wide range of development activities.
Our facilities include seven classrooms, a large hall, an excellent library, a specialist music room, an ICT suite and a care suite with a shower facility. The Foundation Stage classroom has a covered outside learning area and garden. We are proud of our extensive grounds, which have been developed to create outdoor learning areas, including a pond area, an allotment, stage, quiet areas, Forest School adventure playground and exercise trail.
