We are seeking to employ Key Teaching Assistants for September 2020.  

The posts will be 25 hours per week:

8.45 am - 12.15 x 5 mornings

13.10 - 15.1.5 x 3 afternoons

13.10 - 13.45 x 2 afternoons

term time only, 38 weeks per year.

Experience as a TA and/or working with pupils with additional needs would be desirable but not essential.

These posts offer an opportunity for enthusiastic, motivated, well presented individuals who are flexible, hardworking and work well in a team.

It is important that applicants can prove good literacy and numeracy skills. 

As a church school we expect all staff to make a positive contribution towards our Christian ethos.

Herne CE (Aided) Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.  All staff will be expected to hold or obtain an enhanced DBS disclosure.

These are temporary one year posts in the first instance.

Herne C.E. (Aided) Junior School is a well-respected and oversubscribed school in the village of Herne.

We are a large 3 form entry Junior School, which benefits from extensive playing fields, a MUGA and beautiful surroundings.

Most of our children join us from our local infant school.

Our children are happy, keen and talented, not just academically, but musically and through sports.
