Applicants should have achieved at least a GCSE grade C, or equivalent, in English and mathematics and be IT literate. Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

The weekly hours, for this part-time position, are 30 and will cover both the morning and afternoon sessions. In addition it is expected that the post holder will also share in the supervision of children during lunchtime. These two and a half, weekly hours, are in addition to the TA allocated hours and are covered under a separate contract.

If you are creative, have excellent communication skills, are a team player, possess a sense of humour and feel that you have what it takes to make a difference to the lives of our children, we would like to hear from you.

Applicants are encouraged and warmly welcomed to visit the school prior to application. To make an appointment please contact the school office on 03000 658430 or email: office@senacre-wood.kent.sch.uk
