Minibus Driver

Core hours - 10 hours per week 8.15-9.15am and 2.45-3.45pm, 5 days per week

Plus additional hours to cover other events requiring the use of the minibus

38 weeks 2 days per year (term time plus 2 days)

Kent Range 3 payscale £17,365 (£3,908 Pro Rata)

TIMU Academy Trust is looking to recruit a part-time permanent Minibus Driver to join us from May 2020. You will be responsible for driving the minibus between trust schools (Iwade and Bobbing) at the beginning and end of each school day. Additionally the minibus is used to transport pupils to events and activities during the school day for which additional payment would be made.

You will hold a current and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PCV licence. D1 restricted (where licence obtained prior to 1/1/1997) considered. Due to insurance restrictions you will need to be aged between 21 and 70 and have held a full UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 12 months to drive the minibus. We are looking for candidates with a pleasant approachable personality who can demonstrate patience and good communication skills with a wide variety of people. You must be willing to undertake other tasks that are appropriate to your skills and experience. You must be able to demonstrate honesty, reliability and have a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality. Experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
