We are looking to recruit a Website Content Officer to join our Communications Manager and work with colleagues across our Academies Trust in an exciting new role. 

The role will require you to work 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only).  The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing and developing online content and services, liaising with colleagues across Valley Park and Invicta Grammar Schools, while ensuring that content is simple, accessible and audience-focused.

The Website Content Officer will be responsible for overseeing the development, execution and delivery of digital content across the two school websites and social media platforms;

  • Collect, monitor and analyse performance metrics, and respond/make improvements accordingly;
  • Work closely with teachers, students, and communication and marketing colleagues to ensure co-ordinated delivery of activity/news/events;
  • Management of regular Invicta alumni communication, primarily through social media and website;
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to create promotional concepts when necessary;
  • Use of all appropriate social media platforms to promote school news, events, successes and information;
  • Work with the Trust Communications Manager to establish priorities and develop new ideas and projects.

Information about the trust

The Valley Invicta Academies Trust is a Multi Academy Trust, based in Maidstone, Kent. The Trust is a family of primary and secondary schools which work in partnership to provide nothing less than outstanding education for all our young people. Presently the Trust is responsible for five primary schools and three secondary schools:

Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford, Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes, Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill, Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase and East Borough Primary School which has recently joined the Trust.

VIAT Secondary Schools

Invicta Grammar School, Valley Park School and The Lenham School. The Lenham School became a member of the Trust this year joining Invicta Grammar School, the highest performing “non super selective” school in Kent and Valley Park School, the highest performing non-selective school in Kent.
