We are looking for an enthusiastic and cheerful Finance Assistant to assist the Business Manager at our happy and successful Primary School.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be efficient in the use of ICT including Word and Excel. Knowledge of using a finance accounting system and financial procedures would be desirable.

The post is for 35 hours a week, term time only. The post is for a fixed term, pending review after 12 months.

Information about the school

St John’s is a four-form entry primary academy located in Gravesend, serving the Parish of St John the Evangelist and the local area. It is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP), a multi-academy trust established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent which currently comprises of 26 academies (21 primary and 5 secondary).

St John’s is an inclusive academy. Its dedicated staff, helpers and governance committee members work hard to ensure that every student is supported and challenged to be their very best.
