Part-time Cover Supervisor

Hours of work:   8.30am-3.30pm.  Hours can and may vary according to demand.  This can be flexible and is Term Time only.

Salary: To be negotiated according to experience.

Report to the Senior Cover Supervisor

We are looking to appoint a flexible, organised and enthusiastic Part-time Cover Supervisor, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Purpose:

To supervise pupils and deliver materials planned by a teacher to promote learning and well-being for our pupils during periods of teacher absence.

  • Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations of work and behavior.
  • To manage pupil behavior to ensure a safe and constructive working environment.
  • To comply with instructions requested by the class teacher.
  • Comply with lesson plans and instructions from the class teacher
  • Set homework when appropriate, as requested by the absent teacher.
