Harcourt Primary are currently seeking a hardworking, flexible,skilled, dependable and self-motivated Caretaker (full/part time) to join our friendly school.

Ideally you will have some experience in a similar role or can demonstrate a keen interest in maintenance and DIY, and an awareness of Health and Safety. The successful candidate will work to ensure the security of the school buildings and health and safety compliance, carrying out a programme of maintenance work and monitoring the repair and maintenance work of others as directed by the Headteacher. As a key holder, the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents.

For the right candiadte the school would consider either a part-time or full-time role. The full-time role is based on 37 hours per week, 52 weeks each year contract.

Information about the school

Harcourt Primary is a family-orientated, one-form entry school with a private nursery attached. The school is set in extensive grounds with large playing fields, a wild garden and pond.

At Harcourt we pride ourselves in being a small school where the staff, pupils and parents all work together to give the children every opportunity to be the best that they can be. In October 2021 we were visited by OFSTED, who agreed that we are a a Good school with many strengths. Children at Harcourt are polite and well-behaved which allows all of our staff can focus on ensuring all children can learn. As a school we highly inclusive and believe passionately in supporting the whole child. We are extremely proud of our whole school community.
