Teacher of Biology (Maternity Cover)
Required September 2020 (an earlier start from May 2020 may be possible on a part-time basis).
Salary: MPS/UPS depending on experience
We are looking for an inspiring individual who will relish the opportunity to teach Biology to our highly motivated students. You should be a good Honours graduate, with a love of Biology.
The Sciences are studied by all students throughout the School including the Sixth Form as part of the IB Diploma. Students in Years 7–11 and in our co-ed Sixth Form become increasingly independent learners as they progress through the School and achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and in the internationally recognised IB Diploma. Experience of teaching the IB is not essential. Training is offered as required.
The School offers an outstanding internationally minded education and an extensive professional development programme for all staff supporting; induction, leadership development and well-being.
Tonbridge Grammar School has an excellent record supporting NQT’s in establishing and developing their careers. For NQT’s there is the possibility of employment from July.
