We are looking for a temporary Reception teacher to cover maternity leave from 1st June 2020 to the end of term 4 next year. (The end date may change depending on the teacher’s circumstances.) We would prefer a full time teacher but will consider 4 days a week for the right candidate.

We need someone experienced with a proven record of successful KS1 practice and/or Reception. You must have excellent subject knowledge, be passionate about teaching and pupil well being and learning.

Canterbury Road Primary School is a one form entry primary school close to Sittingbourne town centre and within easy reach of the M2, M20 and train station.

We have interested, funny children who like to learn and love coming to school. Our children make excellent progress and pupil progress and attainment are above national levels due to fantastic teaching with a focus on each child achieving their best. We are very well resourced and have a committed staff dedicated to the children and their families.
