We are a five form, mixed, selective school graded Outstanding in all categories by Ofsted in April 2012 and whose boarding operation was also graded Outstanding in January 2018. The school is situated in a beautiful area of Kent, near the coast and several delightful seaside towns. House prices in Sandwich and the local area are significantly lower than those in most other areas of the South East, yet St Pancras International is just over an hour away and the channel crossings at Dover and Ashford are within 30 minutes.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified specialist to join this highly effective and experienced department. The successful candidate will be working in a thriving, supportive department. There is the possibility of continuing the maternity cover from 1 September 2020 until the provisionally return of the post holder in March 2021, but the contract from September would be for 3 days a week, 0.6 FTE, not full time.
