HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT 

Due to our continued expansion, we are looking to appoint a number of HLTA's.  Our HLTA's also support school improvement in a number of areas including Behaviour, Communication, Creative and Physical Development.  All of the areas are outlined in the attached job description.   

As an HLTA you will be expected to support the development and embedding of these areas / practices across the school, including training and up-skilling staff, working with small groups as well as individual students. 

Should you have a prefernece to focus on one of these areas in particular, please make this clear in your applicaiton.   

Experience of working with children with profound and multiple learning disabilities would be an advantage.  

We are looking for people who are passionate about working with children and young adults with special educational needs and are able to help us make a difference and our pupils to achieve their full potential.

Hours of work are 9.00 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. (35 per week) Monday to Friday, term time only (39 weeks)
