We opened in September with one reception class and one year one class. We are looking to appoint two full time teachers, for either Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 who can share our vision to join our team in this exciting new venture.

The Trust is committed to the well-being of all their staff and offer several bonus incentives (on completion of probationary period).  It is important to us that we ensure appropriate training is offered to all our staff and that individuals are valued for the skill sets they bring into the working environment. We require:

 Teacher with TLR2b for leadership of Maths, you will need:

  •  Implement and deliver maths curriculum across all key stages
  • Have a clear understanding of any changes of the maths curriculum, ensuring all teachers are made aware of these changes and how to implement them
  • Contribute, implement and evaluate the maths policy across all key stages
  • Ensure that pupil progress is tracked effectively and progress made can be monitored
  • Carry out book scrutiny to ensure that standards of presentation and consistently good and outcomes reflect quality learning

Salary: Fringe Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale plus TLR2b of £4,676

Teacher with TLR2a for leadership of reading, you will need:

  • Be able to plan, organise and lead on training and development issues associated with reading or writing
  • Have a clear understanding of the curriculum
  • Ensure that pupil progress is tracked effectively and progress made can be monitored
  • Carry out book scrutiny to ensure that standards of presentation and consistently good and outcomes reflect quality learning

Salary: Fringe Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale plus TLR2a of £2,796

River Mill is a new free school that has opened in the centre of Dartford.
