The Viking Academy Trust is looking to appoint a forward thinking Senior IT Technician with drive, enthusiasm and a wealth of IT experience who can play a crucial role in the maintenance and development of the Trust’s I.T. provision.

The successful candidate will possess a high level of technical expertise and commitment to providing and supporting the smooth running of I.T. to facilitate teaching and learning across our Viking schools.

The purpose of the job is to ensure that the day-to-day running of computer networks and associated technologies achieve a high level of availability and reliability to staff and pupils across the Trust.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An experienced IT professional with technical expertise.
  • Experienced in working within schools providing IT technical support.
  • Organised and effective with an eye for detail.
  • Able to prioritise with excellent time management to be able to work effectively across three schools.
  • Reflective and willing to learn.
  • A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
