An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who can help all of our children flourish, shine and nurture a passion for learning.  

The successful candidate will be:

  • Dedicated to enabling every child to reach their full potential
  • Creative, innovative and proactive in their approach to teaching and learning. 
  • Effective at communicating at all levels (children, families, staff and governors). 
  • Supportive of the school's Christian vision and values-ensuring that all children shine. 

In addition, they will have 

  • The ability to be a team player and lead by example 
  • A sense of humour and lots of energy!
  • A clear understanding of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Curriculum
  • Strong time and task management skills. 

We are looking to appoint our new SENCo for the equivalent of 2 days a week.  There is also the possibility of additional hours should the need arise. Ideally the successful candidate will be able to start this academic year, however a later start date can be agreed for the right applicant.

Woodchurch Church of England Primary School has 165 children on roll and is situated in the heart of the Kent countryside in the village of Woodchurch, 6 miles from Ashford and 4 miles from Tenterden. We are a school at the heart of the community, that puts children at the heart of everything we do. Our site consists of a mixture of Victorian and modern buildings.

Woodchurch CE Primary School plays a central role within a close-knit village community. We enjoy a well-established relationship with the wider parish. We are proud of our inclusive, Christian ethos and benefit from strong, mutually supportive links with the local community, church and parents.
