We are looking for a highly efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable HLTA to join our school. 

For this new role, we are looking for either an experienced HLTA, or a very highly skilled TA who is capable of planning and delivering lessons under the professional direction of a class teacher. You will have a genuine desire to support learning activities for pupils and an ability to assess and progress pupils learning. Please read the attached Job Description for further details. 

This position is for 31 hours per week, term-time only (38 weeks per year).

Information about the school

Minster-in-Sheppey Primary School is a two/three form entry primary school. We are a heavily over subscribed school with lovely children and a talented teaching team. CPD is given a high priority at Minster. Our last full Ofsted, March 2022, graded us as good overall. Our team is enthusiastic,united and dynamic! We are on a journey to achieve recognition as an outstanding school. We are a very busy, happy school with; children who are well behaved, highly motivated and fully involved in the life of the school, teachers and support staff who are highly skilled, caring and passionate about our community. On 01.11.16 we converted to academy status with another good local school, Halfway Houses Primary school. Together we formed The Island Learning Trust. Since then we have welcomed Sunny Bank Primary School into The Trust. We are situated on an imposing site with super views of the Isle of Sheppey. Visits are strongly encouraged.
