The Governors of St Mary’s are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Headteacher to lead our friendly and successful school.  

We are looking for someone who believes that every child can achieve and is a real enthusiast for child-centred learning. It is important to us that the leader we appoint will be committed to continuing to move the school forward whilst at the same time ensuring the wellbeing of children and staff. 

We are looking for a leader who:  

  • is a practising Catholic committed to supporting the vision, life and ethos of a Catholic primary school 
  • is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children 
  • is dedicated to the learning and development of every child 
  • can demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships with the excellent team of staff already established in our school 
  • is innovative and forward thinking 
  • has confidence, vision and skills to lead the continued improvement of our school; and 
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
