We are looking to appoint a Headteacher's PA to contribute to the smooth running of the school.  We would like a highly committed, enthusiastic and organised individual who will ensure that the Headteacher's personal office is well managed and runs effectively.

This is an exciting time at DGSB, with a new school build at the design and planning stage and with innovative academic and extra-curricular programmes being introduced.  This will enable us to design a brand-new learning environment with facilities that provide an exceptional education for our students.

If you are passionate about working with young people, relish a challenge and feel you have the necessary skills for this post, please apply either directly through Kent Teach or alternatively email your completed application to stourki@dgsb.co.uk.

Applications should include a completed application form and supporting letter.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expect all staff to share in this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo appropriate child protection screening including an enhanced DBS check.

DGSB is on a very exciting journey. Having retained our "Good " OFSTED designation, without condition, in October 2019, we are working hard on every aspect of what we do as we want to become even better. We moved into a £26m new school building in July 2022 and our new accommodation provides us with modern, bright, spacious teaching rooms, and has increased opportunities for students both inside and outside of the taught curriculum.

However, our success both in school – we recorded a fantastic Progress 8 score in 2023 of +0.57 - and within the local community means that we are already looking to expand our site and develop opportunities further.

DGSB is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expect all staff to share in this commitment. Successful candidates will be required to undergo appropriate child protection screening including an enhanced DBS check. An ‘online presence’ check may be carried out before any appointment is confirmed. All appointments are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references.

Non-contributory access to the Benenden Healthcare Scheme is offered to successful candidates.
