A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at Goldwyn School
We are an Outstanding and unique secondary SEMH special school in Kent, which operates over 4 sites; each running its own distinctive educational pathway.
This strategic senior leadership post has become available due to the retirement of our long-standing Vice Principal at the end of this academic year.
This position will provide the successful candidate with an excellent career opportunity and an exciting chance to be a strategic leader within a highly successful, innovative and forward-thinking school.
The successful candidate will have charisma, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. They will have experience of leading an educational team and an ability to use coaching and mentoring to effect change. They will have an understanding of the complex needs of SEMH students and those with a diagnosis of Autism.
We are looking for someone with leadership experience and a track record of outstanding classroom practice, with experience of delivering GCSE qualifications in core or a range of subjects.

Goldwyn School is a KCC Foundation Special School for children and young people with an EHCP for SEMH needs from age 11 to 16 (provision for 16+ is delivered at Goldwyn Sixth Form College). Students who are admitted to the school have complex and wide ranging difficulties and come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and a wide geographical area.
