We are looking to appoint a caring and dedicated part-time teaching assistant to assist in our Year 5/6 class. Awareness and/or relevant experience of managing children with diabetes would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed term contact ending 31/08/21. The position would start as soon as possible.

The position is every day from 8.45 until midday, 3.25 hours a day, 16.25 hours a week term time only.

The person we are looking for should:

  • Have high standards of English and Mathematics
  • Be an effective communicator with children and adults
  • Be friendly, approachable and able to work effectively with others
  • Have confidence in making decisions and using own initiative
  • Be adaptable with good time management and always putting the children’s needs first
