Teaching Assistant required to support the class teacher in delivering quality learning for all children in the class.  To attend to the behavioural, emotional, social and educational development and physical  care of pupils, under the direction and guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCO.

30 hours a week, term time.

Tenterden Church of England Junior School is part of the Tenterden Primary Federation and works in close partnership with Tenterden Infant School.

Our school is situated in the country town of Tenterden with a population of approximately 6,000. We are on the eastern margin of the Weald of Kent, 12 miles from Ashford, 18 miles from Maidstone and 25 miles from the Channel Tunnel.

We are a two form entry school, part of the Tenterden Schools Trust with Tenterden Infant School, St Michaels Primary School, Rolvenden Primary School and Homewood School and Sixth form college which gives opportunities for collaborative team working.

We have eight classes, with 194 pupils currently on roll. The school works in strong partnership with parents and is working hard to raise standards and improve pupil progress.
