As a Teacher you will:

  •  Act as a role model and inspire pupils and colleagues alike in continuing to strive for outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Share the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Effectively plan lessons and sequences of lessons to meet pupils’ individual learning needs, assessing children’s strengths and determine their next steps in learning

 

To be successful in this role you will:

  •  Be a suitably qualified teacher with experience of leading a subject area and have engaged in recent professional development Have excellent teaching skills and the ability to differentiate curriculum provision
  • Have knowledge and experience of teaching pupils with differentiating curriculum provision to meet individual needs.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise with children and parents from a variety of social backgrounds.

 

Danecourt is an Outstanding Special School which caters for pupils ages 4-11 with severe learning difficulties, many of whom have an autistic spectrum disorder. We have an excellent local reputation and offer a supportive and nurturing work environment headed up by our dedicated and dynamic senior leadership team.
