As a teacher you will:

  • Take responsibility for teaching a class and have high expectations of pupils in order to build successful relationships.
  • Set challenging teaching and learning objectives; planning lessons and sequences of lessons to ensure good progress for all children.
  • Make appropriate use of the school's monitoring and assessment strategies to evaluate pupils' progress towards planned learning objectives.
  • Believe that with the right support, every child can reach the highest standards
  • embrace a wider, creative curriculum – not just English and Maths
