We have a vacancy for a temporary teaching assistant in our popular school until the end of August 2020. This role involves working with two different children during the day, one young child with ASD and one older child with emotional and behavioural needs. The work will generally take place in the classroom although there is some out of class work too.

Experience as a TA is essential and you must have knowledge of, or have worked with children with ASD.

Our school motto is ‘a friendly, happy place to learn’ and we are looking for someone who can uphold these values, work as part of a team and on their own initiative.  The post is for 27 ½ hours a week (8.45am-3.30pm) and is paid at Kent Range 4.

Canterbury Road Primary School is a one form entry primary school close to Sittingbourne town centre and within easy reach of the M2, M20 and the train station.

We have interested, curious children who love to learn and enjoy coming to school. Our children make excellent progress from their start points and progress & attainment are above national levels at KS2 as they move into their secondary education. We have highly skilled staff who are committed to the development of the whole child and a have an unwavering focus on all pupils achieving their best.
