We are looking to appoint an additional Breakfast Club Assistant and After School Assistant as soon as possible. The successful applicant will need to be committed and flexible, and want to join our small friendly team delivering high quality childcare at our Breakfast Club and After School Club.  We are looking for someone who is creative, can work using their own initiative and above all enjoys working with children.

The hours of work will be 0715 to 0845 if you are intereted in the Breakfast Club, and/or  15.00 to 18.00 in the Afterschool Club Monday to Friday term time only (38 weeks per annum). The salary will be equivalent to Kent Range 2.

Duties will include:

  • To support with planning of daily activities of the Breakfast Club to ensure children’s needs are met.
  • To work with other staff to and provide healthy meals/snacks in order to promote healthy eating.
  • To maintain the Breakfast Club to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene, before, during and at the end of each session.

Previous experience of working in a childcare environment is desirable but not essential as all relevant training will be given.
