Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent experience

As our HLTA, you will join a busy department in a very successful school where you will be fully supported with your next challenge.

The successful candidate will act as a link between the school, pupils and their families and statutory teams and agencies so that barriers to learning and attendance are identified, supported and removed. Developing positive relationships with parents, guardians and carers to encourage continuous parental engagement. Additionally, experience of delivering speech and language support would also be highly desirable for this role.

The applicant would need to have good organisational and time management skills and have the ability to be flexible to meet the presenting needs of the children on a daily basis.

The role will have a large classroom support base to the position.

Hours: 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Fridays term time only plus inset days (37 hours per week) 

Salary: Kent Range 6 (£20,222pa FTE). Pro rata salary for Term time only role approx £17,064pa.

Start Date: ASAP
